Gold Pipe (to accelerate items if your network bridges a long gap and you're not using Teleport Pipes).Stone Pipe (not Cobblestone Pipes, though). If there is no adjacent inventory and no pipe intersection, you may use a non-logistics pipe to connect the pipes together. The logistics pipe will decide which is the correct direction for each item that reaches it. the pipe is connected to 3 or more adjacent pipes). The logistics pipe will decide whether to insert items into the inventory, send items onward, or even pull items out and send them off. An adjacent inventory of any kind (can be a chest, but also a furnace, or a machine, or anything that can have items placed into it).You need a logistics pipe anywhere there is: The regular pipes serve to bridge the gap between your fairly expensive logistics pipes. The item is also boosted by the Logistics Pipe similar to a Gold Pipe's speed boost. When an item reaches a Logistics Pipe of any kind, the pipes communicate to decide where the item needs to go, then the pipe routes the item in the correct direction to reach that destination. It is possible to have one really big network, or a lot of smaller networks. For some reason the sorter is spitting the painted cobble into the vanilla chest instead of going over to the crusher.A network is a set of all interconnected Logistics Pipes and the regular pipes (or pipes from other addons such as Additional Buildcraft Pipes) that connect them together. Everything works but the cobblestone part of the rig. From there ores get spit into a tier 3 ore processing line, cobblestone is SUPPOSED to go to a rock crusher to eventually be turned into gunpowder, and all other items get spit into a vanilla chest that acts as a buffer into an AE system. The full setup is a BC quarry with a tesseract from TE, the receiving tesseract spits items into a diamond chest which has the logistical sorter attached. Interestingly enough, the ore filter that paints items dark red works just fine as the last screen shot shows. The dark red painted ore goes to the chemical injector just fine.Īs you can see the sorter is spitting out cobblestone with the correct color, but instead of going to the machine with the logistical transport pipe painted its matching color, it is instead preferring a chest in the ground with an unpainted line. It is intended to go to this crusher right in front of me.Īnother shot (sorter-side) of the cobblestone being painted right, but not going where it should. You can see the painted cobblestone in the background coming out of the sorter and going into the vanilla chest that it shouldn't be that is in the ground out of view. I don't know if I'm just doing this wrong or the sorter isn't looking for available inventories correctly, but here are some screen shots:
